What fixed means
A fixed fare is one amount for the whole ride: pickup, bags, drop-off at the terminal or your door. Traffic, night or weekend does not change that amount in our model. Apps add surge. A meter counts minutes.
What we will not claim
We do not copy from-prices from other sites. Without a confirmed fare list, every euro of ours on a website is marketing, not a contract. Call or WhatsApp. The amount you hear is the agreement.
What to share for a quote
Pickup or terminal, destination, date, time, passenger count, extra bags such as a stroller. The more complete, the better we can plan the ride. Mention groups, because that may need a different vehicle.
Legal meter maximum (2026)
Street taxis on the hail market, including the airport rank, have a legal cap from the Dutch government. In 2026 a passenger car may charge at most €4.31 start, €3.17 per kilometre and €0.52 per minute. A van (5 to 8 passengers) may charge at most €8.77 start, €4.00 per kilometre and €0.59 per minute. Source: Rijksoverheid, in force from 1 January 2026. That is a ceiling, not a Goedkope Taxi Schiphol fare.
Why the meter can feel high
Schiphol to Amsterdam Centre is farther than 7 kilometres and longer than a quarter of an hour, especially in the peak. Start plus kilometres plus minutes adds up. A fare named in advance closes that counter. Whether our amount is lower than the meter is something you hear on the call. We will not invent it here.
Haarlem, Utrecht, Rotterdam
The farther from Schiphol, the more distance weighs. Haarlem and Hoofddorp sit closer than Utrecht or Rotterdam. We drive those rides. Each route gets its own fixed amount. No shared taxi, no invented city table.
